A class is constituted by several students who have the aim to learn and get the knowledge. When a student gets new ideas and stores them in their mind then use the latter to solve a problem we can say that the learning process has taken place. The learning process that every child applies is unique and different from the rest of the children. There are those students who have the visual learning style, this kind of students tend to learn through seeing or observing things. When teaching this kind of student one should use pictures, diagrams, demonstrations, films to present the idea. The teacher can use his or her own spoken words, when speaking directly to this kind of students, or can use specific sound that will enable the student to learn. Also we have the learner who uses tactile learning style, they tend to learn by touching, doing practically what they have been taught. A class consist of learners who learn through the three different learning styles, which makes it difficult for the teacher to teach. The moment a teacher is in a classroom they are the head of the classroom and should in control of the class. To accommodate every student the teacher should link what they are teaching to real life. The teacher can do it by using the daily routine to teach, for instance in science the teachers can use the washing of hands after visiting the washroom and the students will connect. Also the teacher can link what he or she is teaching with the real life using specific everyday examples. For instance in a math class when teaching about time, the teacher can use the time student arrives at school to show time.
Another way more about of making that all the students participate in the learning process is by engaging the students and giving them choices as they prefer. Engagement involves grouping the students, and before grouping, the student the teacher should know the learning style of every student to have balance groups. After grouping them the teacher gives them tasks to tackle together as a group. The task given about to the group should be a tuff one, and the group is expected to work together to complete the task, the teacher should assist whenever the group ask for assistance. Also the teacher can give the student different homework menu to try instead of one for the whole class. The learning style of every student should be what the teacher uses to give the students assignment. An advantage of the homework is to make the student apply what they learned in class. To know whether the students understood what was taught the teacher should give the students homework to attempt.
